Jason is a gay identified licensed clinical social worker at CAPS with extensive experience working in community mental health settings. Jason began his career working in HIV/AIDS outreach and prevention, which inspired him to pursue the field of social work. Previous to CAPS, Jason worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center providing therapy to people with a range of experiences specific to the LGBTQIA+ community. In his free time, Jason enjoys cooking, baking, movies, television and he’s also a proud cat parent! Jason looks forward to meeting students during drop-in hours and helping them identify and pursue their needs.
